Punched and top-dressed 5/5/10Greens should be good once they grow back in. Course RatingsPros Fun challanging course. Cheap to play in afternoon. Cons Greens have been punched and top-dressed. Turtle Creek 9_4_09The course looks like it has a lot of potential to improve. The tee boxes probably need to most help. The greens were also dry and had some bare spots that through the putting off. Not sure what a regular round cost because I participated in a charity tournament. I plan on playing it again to make sure I get a second look at the course. Course RatingsPros The course is challenging. Cons It is not in the best condition compared to other courses in the area. Fun, but far from perfectThe course was in descent shape, but needs some help. I have the Greens a 3 because they were patchy at times and slow. I gave the fairways a 3 because they were patchy at times as well. The tee boxes at times were rounded and tough to find a good spot to tee off. Others were real nice and flat. Decent shapePlayed Turtle this past Sunday, 1/25. The greens were in great shape, rolling fast and true. Fairways were decent but varied hole to hole. Some were patchy, but for the most part all were in nice shape and cut nice. Its definitely worth going out to play right now.

Worth a shotPlayed this course 1/25/09. The back nine was most definitely in better shape than the front. However, the course, considering that it is Winter is not in that bad of shape. It definitely demands that you are accurate as the rough is narrow and tough to play out of. Trees line the course up and down requiring thoughtful innovative shots at times. All in all I would recommend this course.

So you think you're good?Turtle Creek is a course that demands accuracy on every single shot. There is not much room for error. Water comes into play on every hole which makes shaping shots at times important. Now that the course had changed ownership, Turtle Creek is gaining back some of its luster. The course shape is achieving its desired state once again. The layout is very challenging, but fun at the same time. The tee boxes need some work so be sure to bring tees with you. The range is nothing to write home about, floating balls into a lake. Don't go to this course for the practice facilities, go to enjoys one of Rockledge's challenging courses.
