Wet, but pretty nice shape consideringAfter two pretty intense days of rain, I wasn't sure what kind of course to expect. The front 9 was pretty wet, and a bit squishy in the fairways. The back however, was very nice and didn't show hardly any sign of heavy rain from the day before. The greens were in very nice shape, but some of the tee boxes were not great, and the placement of many wasn't desired as were placed on the swail of the tee box. Overall though, this course is in descent shape all things considered. I'd wait and pay the afternoon rate though. Ohh No- Brevard County budget cuts hit Savannah's !!!!!!! I play Savannah's a lot, 30+ times per year. Outstanding greens- very fast, terrific greens and T boxes. I was saddened this week when I found out that almost all of the paid employees have been laid off!!! Brevard County budget short falls were the culprit I was told. WHAT A SHAME !!! These employees made the golfing at Savannah's all the better. Course RatingsPros Great greens, fairways !!! Cons hard to think of a con Would you golf here again? yes Would you recommend this course to a friend? yes Recently Aerified? no

Best Shape I have Ever Seen This Course!Played this course early today and it is in fabulous shape. Besides two small areas in two different fairways, the fairways are just beautiful! The greens were aerified a month ago and man are they nice now! They are very green, fast, and true! In addition to the course being in good shape, the putting green, chipping green, and range are in fantastic shape! Plus, their range has the best deal in the county with unlimited range balls for $12. 18 holes first thing in the morning was just $29 toddy and worth every penny. Get out and play this cowrie now, it's in near perfect shape! Course RatingsWould you golf here again? yes Would you recommend this course to a friend? yes Recently Aerified? no

Savannah's Feb 20thSavannah's remains the best kept golf secret in Brevard. However due to recent "coupons" being sent out to attract more golfers the pace is slower than in the past. The greens are really brown due to the recent cold snaps but are FAST. The staff is always nice and helpful. Course RatingsPros location, price, setting, staff, Cons crowds (due to cost reduction coupons) Would you golf here again? yes Would you recommend this course to a friend? yes Recently Aerified? no

FAST GREENS! Course in descent shapeThe course is recovering nice from the freeze we had a month ago. Plenty of green now. Most of the fairways are in real nice shape, although a few have some struggling spots. The greens are brown in color, but are rolling very true and fast. Right now if you go to the Savnannah's website, you can get some great coupons that will give you one of the best rates in Brevard County. With range balls included, this is a great deal right now. Greens are in great shape! The greens are rolling true and quick. They were in excellent condition. Pace of play was great for a Sunday morning. Tee boxes were descent, but could use some leveling. Cart girl is extremely annoying in that she will drive right up when you are about to hit without any regard for that. All around good course!Just played Savannahs on 9/26 and the course is in overall good condition except for a few flaws. Some greens and fairways could use some work but no major complaints. They could tend to the tee boxes more on a handful of holes also. Always a fun and challenging course to play on. Course RatingsCons -some greens are a little rough -fairways are muddy in some areas -not all tee boxes are well kept Would you golf here again? yes Would you recommend this course to a friend? yes

Greens just Aerified and Sanded! The greens were just punched and sanded and are not in very good shape at all. However, because of the type of grass the greens are made of at Savannahs, they will rebound before too long and be back to great shape.
