Rockledge Country Club

Driving range was in rough condition, which is rare for Rockledge CC. Many of the fairways had thin spots right in the middle of the fairway, which wasn't much of a reward for a great drive. The greens were a little bumpy, but rolled fast. I'm thinking in a couple of months this course will be in amazing shape for summer.

The greens just completed some overhauling and were sanded. The fairways are in descent shape, but have some struggling spots. Give this course some time to get back to top shape. When it is, there aren't many nicer.

The greens here at Rockledge are still some of the most enjoyable to play. Roll very true and at a nice speed. The fairways are struggling a bit right now. Usually they are very full and cut nice but seemed pretty ragged. This is a direct result of the cold weather we had a few months ago. The amenities at the course, especially the driving range, putting green, and pitching area are still in great shape. The driving range even features an artificial back tee area for practicing that is really nice.

I just played in the Platinum Coast Championship here and the greens are the nicest I have ever played. The course superintendent has done an amazing job keeping these greens fast, healthy, and rolling true. The whole course is in amazing shape and I highly recommend playing it. In addition, they have really great membership opportunities right now. For around $250 a month, basically you get unlimited golf with a cart and unlimited range balls for driving range and practice area.

This course is in great shape. The Platinum Coast Championship is this coming weekend, Sept. 12 & 13th and I expect the greens to be rolling at least an 11 or 12. There is still time to register, $150 entry. Full handicap flights and a championship flight.

Rockledge CC is a private golf club, but they lots of good rates to attract members and jr. members, especially over the summer. This courses greens are absolutely the best I have played all summer in Brevard County. They are fast and rolling true. The ball is glued to the green when you putt. This course is very difficult though and demands accuracy. A nice challenge for golfers of all skill level. Get out now and play it, you'll be happy you did.

Played Rockledge Country Club this morning. The greens were absolutely beautiful. Very green, very fast, very true. A few of the fairways show definite signs of the drought we are going through, but this course is a definite gem and very fun to play. Its private, but not impossible to get on.
