Wedgefield 11/21/09It is a good golf course and worth the price if you want to work on golf management part of your game. You have opprtunities to go for the green but may want to take to good iron shots if you are going to be short anyway. Course RatingsPros The tee boxes, fairways, rough, and green where well cut and maintained. It is not a long course but it is difficult enough that you have to place your shots in a good position or you can get in trouble. Cons The greens were a little over seeded. The putts would jump on you sometimes because of that. The bunker where a little hard considering it has not rained that much lately. Turtle Creek 9_4_09The course looks like it has a lot of potential to improve. The tee boxes probably need to most help. The greens were also dry and had some bare spots that through the putting off. Not sure what a regular round cost because I participated in a charity tournament. I plan on playing it again to make sure I get a second look at the course. Course RatingsPros The course is challenging. Cons It is not in the best condition compared to other courses in the area. Walkabout 9_25_09The course was in pretty good shape. It cost $27 to play after noon and it was pretty wide open. The front nine is definitely harder than the back so if you manage a decent score in the front you can definitely make it up in the back. Course RatingsPros The course is challenging to golfers of all skill level. There is a lot of risk and reward shot you can take or there are opportunities to take less risk. Cons There was no drink cart going around so make sure you have enough before taking off on Hole#1 and refill before hole #10. 434 LinksOverall it is a good small course if you have about an hour and half to play. The environment and course conditions makes you really concentrate on how to play a shot. Great if you want to play a quick nine holes and feel like walking. Course RatingsPros It is a great course to work on your short game. There are elevated tee boxes and greens to add to the difficulties. Cons The entire greens are not in great shape. You may have to put through some bad spots. Keeping your line was importantThe greens on the back nine where better than the front nine. The putts were running fast and keeping your line was important. The fairway grass was a little dry but you could still hit a desired shot. Course Listings

Cold DayIt was a very cold day on Saturday (1/17/09) but the course was in excellent condition. Still the best price in town for condition, challenge, and fun. Course Listings

ChallengeThis course was a blast. Though typically relegated to members, if the opportunity presents itself to you, I recommend playing it. Condition of the course overall was great. The front nine was much easier, while the back nine presented holes of whole varying degree. Long par fours, dramatic elevation change, you name it, it had it. What a course to play if you get the chance. Course RatingsWould you golf here again? yes Would you recommend this course to a friend? yes
