Worth a shotPlayed this course 1/25/09. The back nine was most definitely in better shape than the front. However, the course, considering that it is Winter is not in that bad of shape. It definitely demands that you are accurate as the rough is narrow and tough to play out of. Trees line the course up and down requiring thoughtful innovative shots at times. All in all I would recommend this course. Course Listings

Good Shape - Sanded GreensPlayed this course on 1/15/09. Overall the course was in great shape. However, they just sanded all of the greens and made for any ball hit to the green to essentially not stick, even if well hit. The rest of the course was in great shape, and the 2pm twilight rate is very good at $25. Course Listings

Fun and deceptively ChallengingPlayed this course in May and overall the course was in good shape. At the time several of the tee boxes and holes were closed due to a flooding in the area. They were remodeling and relocating them, so by now they should be up and running, with the exception of the whole it being winter thing. Fun course that presents a challenge in the way of thick rough and tough to judge hills. Course Listings

So you think you're good?Turtle Creek is a course that demands accuracy on every single shot. There is not much room for error. Water comes into play on every hole which makes shaping shots at times important. Now that the course had changed ownership, Turtle Creek is gaining back some of its luster. The course shape is achieving its desired state once again. The layout is very challenging, but fun at the same time. The tee boxes need some work so be sure to bring tees with you. The range is nothing to write home about, floating balls into a lake. Don't go to this course for the practice facilities, go to enjoys one of Rockledge's challenging courses. Course Listings

some decent grass would be nicePlayed this course a month ago. Driving range was dirt and weeds. Fairways were dry and patchy, the greens followed suit. Overall I was very disappointed in the shape of this course. I did enjoy the layout, but the course needs some serious attention. Hopefully the course superintendent has improved the course since early Dec. Course Listings

Waste of MoneyIn looking at this course's website and calling and speaking with their pro shop, they claim their course is in great shape. It was full of weeds, dirt patches all over, and the driving range was like something found in a clay pit. Course Listings

Fun Municipal CourseThis course is a great course to practice on. The price is reasonable, there are always tee times available, and walkers are allowed. They just did a renovation of all the tee boxes and as of 12/15/08 they were open. Great course to spend an afternoon on. Not much in the way of a driving range, but that is what playing the course is for.
