Played on 5/6/10Always a good course in spite of the tee boxes. Course RatingsPros Still the best greens in the area. Very tough course from the back tees. Cons Some of the tee boxes are in bad shape as of 5/6/10. They are brown and bare in some spots. Suntree Classic reviewThis is a course I have been wanting to play and was very pleased with the experience. The people there were very nice and the course itself was very good. At least the one we played (Classic). I look forward to playing there again...if given another chance. Course RatingsPros Although a private course it is worth a play if given the opportunity. The facilities are very nice and the Classic course is in excellent shape. We only saw one other golfer the entire day on the course. It's a nice layout that can be challanging from the back tees. Cons It's a private course and they have very restrictive guest privilages. The same guest can only play once a month. The greens are VERY fast and challenging. 3 putts seem to be the norm, at least until you learn them. The greens were brown but rolled true. I had many GIR's only to walk away with bogies, ouch. Also, the snackbar closes at 3PM which only left the bar open. unfortunately they don't carry any Powerade or Gatorade. We didn't see a beverage cart the entire day although they told us she was out there. Windy and wet Mar 29th,2010This course seems to always be in the best shape in the area. Plenty of grass around the greens unlike the thin lies at other courses. I played from the gold tees on a day that was windy and had rained all morning so it played very long. This course drains really well with the exception of a couple of holes. I really like this course even though I can't seem to score well. There are a lot of places to get in trouble especially on the long par 3's. Course RatingsPros Course is in great shape. Fun layout. Cons Plays very long when windy and wet. Would you golf here again? yes Would you recommend this course to a friend? yes Recently Aerified? no Course Listings

Beautiful Course!A very good course to play. A little pricey at winter rates but they do have 2 for 1 deals you can get. The staff there takes very good care of you and makes you feel important. Great experience! Course RatingsPros Top shelf faciilities. Free valet parking. Range balls included. Nice restaraut and bar, although I didn't eat so I can't attest to the food. The course layout is fun and challanging. The fairways and greens are in very good shape and haven't suffered from the cold temps like many of the other local courses have. Cons This course does seem to get a lot of play so there are a lot of divots and balls marks on the fairways and greens. There is a lot of water (16 of 18 holes) and O.B. so if you are off your swing it can be a long day...believe me, I know. The greens keeper must have been in a bad mood the day I was there, there were a lot of sidehill pin placements and the greens are fast and grainy so 3 putts were common...for me! Palmer & Haig courses -July 22&23We got a great deal of 1 night stay and 2 rounds for $139.00. This is a beautiful facility. Both courses were in good condition. The greens on Palmer looked like they were aerated a week or so earlier but rolled true. The Haig course, although slopes more difficult seemed easier than the Palmer course. The greens are definitely faster and harder to read on the Haig though, which may explain it. They are in their off-season so you can get some good deals. Course RatingsPros Facility is great. 4 courses to choose from. Condition of the courses are all in good condition. Not excellent because some of the tee boxes and fairways suffer from the same south Florida burning/barespots. Cons Some of the staff were not very friendly or welcoming. Not all, but some. But other than that the facility was first rate. Very expensive if you can't work a deal though. Beverages and food are at hotel rates which is high. Summer 2009If you get to the Northeast Kingdom it's definetly a must play. Course RatingsPros This is a very beautiful and scenic course to play. The greens were in great shape and fast. The fairways and teeboxes were also in very good shape. Cons There are a few blind tee shots that make this course hard, especially the first time playing it. There are some very steep cart paths that can make it a little hairy if you are riding and a little tiresome if you're walking Would you golf here again? yes Would you recommend this course to a friend? yes Recently Aerified? no
